If you’re starting from Split and want the coastline to feel progressively wilder, heading north is the move.
The week opens in the sheltered waters around Šibenik, shifts into Kornati’s stark island scenery, then carries on to the Kvarner islands—Rab, Krk, Cres and Lošinj—where the atmosphere becomes a touch more Riviera: longer promenades, calmer evenings, and beautifully clear bays.
Key Points
- A 14-day itinerary beginning and ending in Split.
- Highlights include the Šibenik archipelago, Kornati National Park, Zadar, and the Kvarner islands (Rab, Krk, Cres, Lošinj).
- The loop can be sailed in the reverse order depending on weather, berth availability, and the rhythm you prefer.
Who is it Suitable For?
Great fit if you like variety without constant packing and unpacking.
- Guests who want real “open-horizon” scenery (Kornati) but still enjoy a few well-chosen town evenings (Zadar, Lošinj).
- Families and mixed groups who appreciate sheltered-water cruising early in the trip.
- Travellers who’d rather spend afternoons swimming and drifting between coves than chasing nightlife.
